Aarjav Trivedi
I am a research engineer at Secure Computing where I work on stopping spam, phishing, detecting botnets and some other interesting security applications of machine learning. You should be able to find any public output of my work here.
When I am not on the clock I like to be involved in events like Bar Camp Atlanta, Startup Weekend Atlanta and Startup Riot or throw around ideas with my future cofounders. I plan to take at least one graduate class a semester at Georgia Tech where I finished my course requirements for a MS in Computer Science at the College of Computing in 2005. For Fall 2007 took Entpreneurial Finance and Private Equity and in Spring 2008, I took a special topics course on Dealing with Uncertainty in the emerging world taught by Prof. Joel Cowan at the business school.
When I have a little more free time I'd like to repay my debt to the open source tools movement by contributing development time to Mozilla Thunderbird, Hadoop or CLucene. I contribute to and recommend Akanksha as a worthy cause.
I like to listen to all good music ranging from Indian Ocean to The Black Eyed Peas.
You can mail me at my first name at gmail.com or IM me using the same ID on Google Talk.
